The first of my art for "Kubo and the Two Strings" Anniversary, done in Oil PastelI wanted something early in the story that captured how warmly Monkey loves Kubo, even if she doesn't openly show it to him. I couldn't think of a better moment than when they were inside their whale shelter.
Commentary: That stuff at the bottom is sparks from their fire.
