My next Anniversary art for the 5th Anniversary!
I've always had a fondness for Kubo spending time with his mother while she was lucid, for many reasons
For one, it kind of acts like a calm before the storm, one of Kubo's last "normal" moments he had with his mother
And the caption drives home one of the other reasons I like this scene. She was able to establish that even though we (seemingly) would never meet Hanzo, he was a good man, a good husband and a loving father.

Commentary: I liked drawing this one because it had a minimalistic approach and also drove home one of the elements of this scene I loved, the hug between Kubo and his mother.
