The second unit built off the mysterious "Ex" tech and older brother to "Lucifer", CIU-055 "Modem" is the resistance's communications relay and officer, as well as interceptor for enemy signals and occasional espionage.
It enjoys its job, as it keeps it out of harms way. Although its job often calls for "Modem" to go out to the field to gather more information, which it hates the most.

Categorically, Modem is a coward. It hates conflict and confrontation as much as its brother loves resolving it (aggressively). It much prefers to stay on everyone's good side and not say anything that could get it into arguments, but hanging around with Ex makes this nearly impossible.

Despite all of this, Modem will always get its job done no matter the cost. Because it would rather fail doing what it needs for the resistance, than to disappoint everyone because of its insecurities

Modem, the third of the quartet of robots. The antithesis of Lucifer. This character was my first Sonic Forces avatar that I completed the game with. The rest of the characters were designed after I completed the game, because I got bored after finishing the game within the 2 hours of owning it -_-
