Description
This is another example of art theft, just as with my recolor one: Stealing a certian DA user's artwork, editing it claiming it as yours rather than the original artist's is a big violation of the DeviantART rules and makes you a big target of anti-art theft groups and ripe pickings for being reported to the deviantART admins. So, no matter how your art skills are...for stealing other user's artwork and manipulating it and claiming it as yours...just as with recoloring over other artwork...DON'T DO IT!
I used my Harmoknight artwork as an example for this one. The one on the left is my original, and the other on the right is what it might look like when it's stolen (and also edited).
Thanks!
HarmoKnight is (C) Nintendo
Artwork is (C) Me

If a person stole another person's art, they wouldn't just label it as theirs. Usually, if a person doesn't have a watermark, they print their watermark on it. (A watermark is the person's signature) Usually, a good artist would put their watermark in an area of the art where no matter how hard the thief tries, they can't crop it out without ruining the picture ( On the leg, overlapping the drawing) One way to find a thief is too save the picture, google the picture, see if it's posted anywhere else, check if the person claimed it as theirs, and report if so.
