In my au (and a possible theory) I believe glitch was a mimic who had taken the form of Afton and killed the children to frame him while the real afton broke the suits to free the souls that were trapped, but because the mimic chose the form of afton, they think Afton was their killer, chasing him into the springlock suit only for it to go off. The real Afton had then possessed the suit but was being controlled by the mimic, like a puppet on strings (security breach is a great example), and the real Afton’s suit had only made it until the pizzeria simulator (scraptrap), then the mimic fully took over while the real Afton was forced to take the punishment the mimic had framed him into while the mimic got to stay up and continue its killing spree. You can usually tell it’s the mimic because of its purple eyes. (I’ve also noticed it may have went into micheal as well and then left him in Sister Location 🤔) I had this thought after thinking about a hologram thing that was created in the twisted ones.
