I always wonder whether to submit these as a painting or a drawing, since technically, pastels are a painting- even though you "draw" with them at times.
I have been going through my sketch folio today- I have about 100 sketches/pastel paintings within this one folio- am trying to catch up on taking photos/scanning of them.
It's amazing to go through and rediscover old favourites-

I enjoy these very much! I love your figurative work. They are so powerful and expressive, I wish I could create gestural work this powerful but all of mine look like a child's drawing.

Oh this is lovely and sassy. Very soft and sensual. Diferrent from your paintings in overall feel although you use the same themes in either.
