I missed the best time. It was too late in the month so most of the flowers were starting to wilt and die, but that picture at least seems to hide that fact.

Yeah, I went there on my birthday (April 19th) with my Mum, after playing on the nearby pitch-and-putt. Of course, apparantly the gardens' best month is May so presumably you went along at the right time for everything to be in bloom (though I think I recall seeing those purple ones).
But yes, nice piece and a good title. It does look like someone tried to stick all the colours of the rainbow in there.
