My friend knows, Demeter is one of my fav Greek gods/goddesses.
Im really happy, he made me this for my birthday that was some time back : ) .

I love how he did the scenery, atmosphere and pose
and in my oppinion he was creative on the dress : 3

He took some inspiration from earlier concepts I drew.

Demeter is the Greek goddess of earth, nature, the harvest, agriculture and fertility. She also symbolises regenarative earth power, over all living things.
She is ruler over the seasons and over all kinds of vegetation and plantlife. Demeter overall is kind, gentle and caring and a loving mother.
She learned the people about agriculture and also provides the world in food, and decorates the earth and keeps it fertile. Her most known myth, is about how Hades kidnapped her daughter Persephone and her state of mind and moods, changed the state of nature. Untill her daughter returned to her.

I see her with brown hair and gold-brown eyes,
her clothes and accesories that are also organic at parts being: green, brown, yellow, red ( Demeters sacred flower is the poppy) and beige.

Also still keeping my fingers crossed.
Hoping Demeter will come to SMITE eventually,
to join her brothers Poseidon, Zeus, Hades ...
and a lot of other mythological figures in that game : p

I have thought about, abilities for her before ... think it could maybe use a little tweak though still ...

Basic atacks: Enchanted seeds: Demeter schoots / throws seeds surrounded by a green glow, from the small bags she wears around her waist.

Passive: Disclosing seeds: Every fifth basic atack lets the seed explode, bringing a bit more damage.

1. Flowers can have thorns
Demeter places her hands on the ground and let plants come out of the ground. Thorny branches with small flowers. That bring damage and give a slow to enemies. She cannot move herself shortly when she calls upon these plants.

2. Satisfying harvest
Demeter spreads her arms and calls upon a grain field in a square. Where allies can restore HP in, healing them.
When enemies enter the square it brings them damage. As Demeter rules over the harvest she brings.

3. Swift Arion
Demeter calls upon her son Arion the fastest immortal horse who can speak, to move away. To get out of tricky situations. Getting a movement speedboost and mobility. When she temporarily sits on his back, Demeter cannot atack. But the dust that Arion leaves behind him, with his steps brings damage though. That is the only way to atack when this ability is active.

4. Shifting seasons ( of the Oak tree - ultimate)
Demeter can call upon her sacred tree. She has two options. One who shifts from spring to summer. The time that brings her joy, healing all allies for a percentage, whereever they are on the field. Or calling upon a tree that shifts from autumn to winter, a time with memories of strife and loss giving all allies a damage boost. The boosts go in 2 fases, small percentage in spring and summer or autumn and winter. The tree can be destroyed by enemies, to prevent their enemies to get both boosts (spring-summer or autumn-winter).
