This is Cheren's team when he participate in the Unova League.

Cheren's signature Pokemon before becoming a gym leader in Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 is Serperior not Stoutland.

The reason for Bianca and Cheren to have a small team of four is because both dropped out of the Unova League. Bianca dropped out earlier which is why her Pokemon can only learn moves below level 40. Cheren here dropped out after getting the eighth badge and challenge the player one last time. Oh and all his Pokemon are level 43 plus one level 45 Serperior.
