Description
HEY THAR BANDWAGON, HOW'S IT GOIN'?I kept seeing these popping up in my inbox, and I really wanted to do one of my ooooown.
1. Disney This one's pretty oooobvious, I mean a good chunk of the fanart I've done is Disney related. But other than that, the style is what I tryyyy to go by when I'm not doodling something anime related.
2. Anime 'NOTHER OBVIOUS ONE. Anime was what inspired me to draw in the very beginning, and had played the most importance in my work up to now. Though I'm mostly partial to styles used in K-on! (the image I chose to use).
3. Women's Fashion I know I don't draw it at all, but when I see girls in really awesome outfits like this, I just want to stop everything I'm doing and draw her. Well, a more cartoon-ized version of course. I just love fashion, and it's something I need to start drawing much more often.
4. Pandora Who couldn't be inspired by Pandora? I MEAN REALLY. I've aaaaaalways wanted to do an epic painting of nothing but scenery of that planet, it's just so gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of crazy lighting effects, so of course I fell in love with Pandora's bioluminescence the first time I saw Avatar. Again, something I need to work on incorporating much more into my work.
5. Hayao Miyazaki Another thing I don't see how anyone couldn't be inspired by. His color palettes, and holy god those backgrounds. The detail in his movies always blow me away, and it'll be his stuff I look to when I finally get around to go hardcore practicing on doing background.
6. Architecture To be honest, it's more along the lines of Gothic architecture, cathedrals and castles, that inspire me the most. But I chose to put an image of the Winchester Mansion because that place is surrounded by ghost stories and weird shit, BOTH of which also inspire me. So, all three in one picture! AND AGAAAIIIN, something else I need to work on actually drawing more.
7. I'm pretty sure anyone who follows Loish is inspired at everything she does. All of it is original, beautiful, and nothing short of mesmerizing. I look to her work for tips on color, lighting, and textures. I can only hope to be half as good as she is *^*
8. The singular most important thing to improve on in my work is movement and expression. This girl has both down pat. Even her little sketches have so much life in them it's astounding. With my desire to be an animator one day, I look at this girl's stuff and always manage to dig up the need to draw people in silly poses.
9. Victorian Fashion This has to be my absolute favorite era of fashion. I don't think I've seen a single dress I didn't like, or didn't want to sit and draw, or even come up with my own design.
10. Filmscore For me, good music helps produce good art, and nothing works better for me than awesome as shit movie soundtracks. How to Train Your Dragon is, of course, the one I listen to the most lately
11. Invader Zim I mentioned earlier that weird shit inspires me most of the time, so Zim is just about the best of the best when it comes to weird cartoons. I almost put Jhonen himself, but Zim has always been my favorite of his work by a landslide, and I like the artwork in it so much more than his other stuff. It's a lot simpler.
AAAAND that's that! Thanks for looking y'all : D

I know what you mean about the fashion girls. And I don't even really like fashion. I just have art block a lot and want to draw the next pretty thing I see.
