someone i knew took too much heroin and it killed them. this is a small window into some of my thoughts on the matter.Related content

it is a strong picture. the dark red against white makes it so.
the hands portrait 'need' good, while the insect to me represent despair.
i can only guess that the drop is a reference either to the substance or tears.
the wall, worn down but with new life.
it indicates, purposely or not, that something is over, while something new has started.
the lyrics set the mood.

The red, white, and dark ink outlines look very strong together (at least, I am assuming they are ink outlines, please correct me if I am incorrect.) This is very touching, and I am sorry for your loss. The red is extremely appealing in this piece..it just seems to express maybe the death of the someone you knew..nice piece here.

The colors and contrast between items here makes this picture very "harsh" and rugged, and after reading the description I understand why. It's very emotional, deep and thought-provoking.

Wow. The verses almost remind me of haiku, not in their metrics, but in the wa they're presented in the picture. The hands seem to be tensed, aiming at something, trying to grab some more, and yet never being able to... I really like the red tints of the wood, they look soaked with blood, and it contributes to make this picture really strong. Even the herb looks like it's been treaded on, denied the right to raise the head again, destroyed, irremdiably... It's very emotional and intense, really.

that's so powerful and perfect... with most poetry there's something that stands out that i dislike, but this was just great all around. i can kind of sympathize even if i've never been through it, just because of this... i dunno. i can't explain it.

this is a very touching piece red, and i've lost some friends to drugs/ alcohol as well so i feel your pain on this. the words are definitely very good and the image you've created to go with them looks great. awesome job on this reall, to bad it took such a tragic event to create the motivation behind it
