Ok first I would like to apologize for the crappy sketching and coloring. This is a very raw sketch comic for Mericcup fans.Toothless sits next to Merida who is highly interested in her fish. Merida is frighten by Toothless and takes aim. Just before she lets go of her arrow Hiccup grabs it. Merida looks at Hiccup and Hiccup does the same and that is how they met...... (In my mind) lol

While someone crossing that distance that quickly unnoticed would be slightly unbelievable, Hiccup has proven to be fast and elusive, both quickly disappearing into the woods and later disarming Astrid (and lets face it, if you're a trained warrior(ess) you're not going to have a loose grip on your weapon in a dangerous situation, but he still got her axe away from her in a moment), and while that was all before he lost his leg, its also been years since then by the time he's meeting Merida here.
And Toothless just wants fish. Daw!

My, this is better than how I envisioned it about how they met.
