I did one of these summary submissions for 2022 on FurAffinity but not here, so this year I decided to do one that features my most popular works on DA for each month of 2023. Needless to say, a surprising number of you loved my Bluey-related pieces

Art-wise, 2023 was a thoughtful year for me. I can't be certain whether or not the Bluey wave gave me "the push" I was looking for to make more art, but it's certainly given me thoughts on how I could improve upon it. Some of you may have noticed that I've recently been experimenting with colored outlines similar to those seen on the characters and backgrounds of the show, not just in my Bluey art but also my furry art as well. I've also put a lil more effort into making decent backgrounds for a handful of pics this year, compared to most from the last few years.

I can't say all these thoughts on my art have been positive, though, as I have questioned if I'm going about all this the right way. Back in Spring, one of the Bluey art groups I applied for on DA denied my request (I won't say which one) because of the "questionable" works I've made or faved. Keep in mind, there's only a handful of NSFW art in my entire gallery as of right now, and while I do have a larger number of 'em in my faves gallery, NONE OF THESE portray any child-like characters and I have absolutely NO intentions in making any NSFW Bluey-related art, not even of the grown-ups in the show. That being said, it still made me question whether or not I should continue drawing or posting any furry-related art on DeviantArt. I am grateful for the love I've gotten on some of my Bluey art, but I've been drawing furry art since middle school and it has stuck with me since then. Even now, there are quite a few of you guys who still give some love to that genre of art, in fact more so over the last year, and because of that, I don't really want to give up that part of the artist in me.

So where do I go from here?
For now, I think I'm going to continue to post most, if not all, of my SFW art here, both for Bluey and for furry art. Any NSFW art I make will be posted over on my FurAffinity page, which I'll leave a link to below. Again, I have NO intentions on doing any NSFW Bluey art in the future, so if you were hoping for me to draw any big buff Heelers or the likes, I'm sorry but you won't find them here NOR there. I will continue to improve my digital art skills to make more colorful works for you guys to enjoy. Perhaps in the near-future, I'll finally even set up commissions and draw art for others again (if I feel confident enough to push myself to do so).
