Description
The Pack

The pack is calling me out, I hear them from my room.
I must go now, I must alight, under the bright full moon.

I follow the pack's voices, into their humble den,
the puppies run to greet me, happy to see me again.

I sit and play among them, I feel no urge to rome.
For it's this cave, not my house, that really is my home.

The elder comes to see me, the pups all run away,
She fixes me with a peircing glare, ordering me to stay.

She looks at me for a moment, her snow-white fur aglow.
Then, she smiles and nuzzles me, I'm home and we all know.

I stay for hours with the pack, I run wild and free.
I could stay with them forever, but it's just not meant to be.

Dawn is soon approaching, and I must now go home,
I leave the pack, But I'll return, for another full moon roam
