Was thinking the same thing.
I'm part of a revolutionary group at my college campus, and we were discussing just that. You need to get your hands dirty to get anything of worth done. Activism is not supposed to be safe. If it's safe, it's not any activism that will actually change things.
Though maybe the fact that things are changing shows that the people at Mizzou and other colleges know this.
