chapter 13 "hearts of fire"
air ships raced for the closest hive as a general was giving a speech on how earth was their only home and how they shouldn't let it fall, 2 of the air ships were shot down by anti air cannons. the solders prepared and checked their weapons as the air ships landed, the light changed from red to green as tanks and solders charged out to battle for the finest hour.

Owen: can't get a shot in with the bugs all over the place!
Gianni: we'll move up with the flame solders!
Meta: *shooting drones out of the air* i'll run out of ammo by then!
Hunter: think we can take one of the AA cannons?!
Owen: that could work, but we don't know what we're getting into.
Gianni: we have Meta! he's a walking tank!
Owen: i thought he was death incarnate...
Meta: that would be my girl friend!
Gianni: Sensei, we're going to take over one of the AA cannons to give our troops a path!
Kattā: [good idea! the possibility of pointing a gun the enemy loves at them could work, get to it!]
Gianni: Hai! let's roll!
Meta: i'll take point!
Hunter: i'll see how to drive that thing!
Gianni: i'll shot! Owen, get a lock on as soon as the path is clear!
Owen: oh yeah! boom time!

Duna: seems they're getting ready for something...
Madoka and Magnia: dips first! what?!
Satern: i'll admit....this plan could work...
Duna: ...well....i spent more time with him....
Kattā: girls! we need to run the numbers. can they do it?
Duna: i think so...
Satern: possibly...
Madoka: i hope so...
Magnia: if they have some backup...yeah i think they can take 3.
Kattā: 3!?
Magnia: yeah, 3. if we can do that we can do more then clear a path. we could punch a hole through to the hive and take it out.
Kattā: did you get that?
Gianni: [yeah! i'm seeing AA guns turning tail! preparing to fire!]
Duna: just be careful crimson! i'm reading a high amount of drones on the way!
Gianni: [......crap......ALL CANNONS! FIRE! FIRE!]

the teams were all set and prepared for the light show, ya-mi drones fleeing as they burned to a crisp. it was now or never for the first hive and soon round after round of super heated plasma cooked through the the ones that were left, the queen screeched in protest to this. Owen found his chance and locked onto the queen herself with the archer pods obliterating her on contact, the drones all fell dead with out the queen as Owen watched it all happen satisfied.
