"…Are you sure?"

One of the Pokémon asked. It sounded female.

"...I'm fairly positive..." Replied the other Pokèmon that sounded male as he continued, "He looked so terrible that Gunpowder wanted us to keep an eye out here for any suspicious activity. Makes sense, since most Pokèmon go through this way anyway--"

"Hold on, what about the other areas?" The female interrupted, "Who are watching those parts in case if, Arcerus forbid, someone is lurking around?"

The male stayed quiet staring at the female, then looked away looking out towards the Village before answering quietly, "Uh...different groups, I guess. I don't know all the details y’know...but, I do know we were told to keep a watch out here..." the male finished speaking out his thoughts as he shifted uneasily on the tree branch the two were sitting on. Doing this resulted the branch to shake a little, as a leaf that was on the tree branch had given out, and started to fall downward until a gentle breeze came rolling in and made the leaf blow upwards. The two Pokémon noticed the leaf rising upward towards them, and watched the leaf in silence as it gently floated away carrying it towards the Village until it disappeared from both of the Pokèmon’s view.

The female sighed then stated, "Well, that sounds really peachy then…looks like he went through a lot from what he sounded like..."

There was a hint of worry in her voice. The male felt sympathy as he spoke out,

"Well, that's why we're here to watch over him...y'know...in case if there's someone after him, or something. That's what Gunpowder said anyway...after all, we're just following orders…”

“*~Sigh~*

…

*Ahem*”

The male Pokémon sighed, and paused clearing his throat before continuing. It seemed the Pokémon was talking for a while as he kept going,

"...I think that's fair since we did work on different reconnaissance missions, and other missions before...we haven't failed none of them so far…so, that must mean we're going along like a really good team... and we have to keep going as a team." The male Pokémon said, finishing his statement of what he knew in his own words.

The female Pokémon nodded, smiled, and was impressed by the males determination from his statement. "Well, I hope that Jack will know and would be really thankful that you're looking out for him. I hope that he will be okay. Poor kid...but anyway, I'm sure you guys will do well with this mission..." She said. The male Pokémon kept staring at the female intently waiting for her to finish. "...On the bright side however, at least I get a chance to hang with you guys today…which I'm grateful for...seems like you know what to do all the time with all your coolness…" The female had a hint of compassion this time in her speaking.

"W-what? Coolness?"

Said the male Pokèmon taken aback a bit before regaining composure blushing a little. "N-nah, we're just following our orders, you see, but I appreciate the kind gesture…wait...hold on...” he paused staring at the female Pokèmon, "...You jealous?" he then smirked a playful look.

It was the females turn to be taken aback by that question. "Me? HA…never..." Replied the other Pokémon slyly pouting a bit looking away turning red a little.

"Sureeeeeeee, Clover...SUREEEEEE, hahahaha!" The male said as he started to burst out laughing.

"S-shut up, Spencer!" The now named Clover was now hitting Spencer with her stalk on his arm playfully.

"Hahaha!"

She couldn't help but start laughing too.

The two Pokémon who were conversing to each other high above the tree sitting on a tree branch were now enjoying each other's company. The two Pokémon was a male Golduck, and whom he was talking towards was a female Farfetch'd. They really seemed to enjoy each other's company.

Meanwhile, down below, there were three other Pokémon that seemed to overhear the conversation a bit.

"...Oh gross, they're doing that weird thing again??"

Said a young disgusted male sticking his tongue out in a gross way. It appeared to be a Growlithe. He was laying down on his stomach on the grass with his front paws stretched forward while relaxing under the trees shade.

"Oh come on, Ben, they're just enjoying each others company..." Said a older male Pokémon who smiled, and looked up above at Clover and Spencer, then back down at the Growlithe. It was a Zangoose sitting down leaning on his right side on the tree with his feet paws crossed enjoying the breeze. "'Sides, I get to kick back and enjoy some down time with you, and our pal!" the Zangoose said chuckling, as he reached out with his left pawed claw, and ruffled the Growlithe's big fluffy hair on his head.

“Hahaha, that’s true!” Ben said happily.

Clover the Farfetched hangs out above in a tree with Spencer the Golduck!

…Spencer seems to have a crush with Clover, but Clover seems to be…not seeing it.

Daren the Zangoose and Ben the Growlithe sure seem to think differently though!
