Usually I tend to like the anime because it's more easily accessable...
HOWEVER.
In the case of Hellsing, the manga FAR outweighs that TV series crap. The plotline is beyond stupid, and half of the characters aren't even included.
But anyway. Funny comic. I really like the courtroom scenes.

It's even for me. I'll read a manga when i dont feel like watching shifting screens, and I'll watch an anime when i dont feel like working my brain too hard.

Both are good to me.
Since I sometimes get myself to both read the manga and watch the anime(Original Version, of course)...
Sometimes, it helps me getting the full idea. I get both impressions, and make my own, which becomes a mix between the two, and it makes me able to get a better field of view in the actions...
If you don't understand my point, just stop minding about it xD

Manga is usually better, though I've found that some anime, like Ghost in the Shell and Le Chevalier D'Eon, are just as good, if not better than the manga.

Manga no fillers, no flashbacks, and no chances of horrible voice acting.

Manga, hands down. Gets to the meat of the matter faster, less fillers, no annoying opening tunes, less random jiggling (what even is up with that?) and you don't have to listen to shitty voice-acting.
Because dear. God. I hate anime voices. Especially the girls. Always sound like there was a helium leak somewhere on the planet.
