Well, I finally finished this one, the color version of this drawing: redshoulder.deviantart.com/art…Perhaps "color" is off, since it was done in various shades of gray (along with screentones)--and that was quite the challenge! I also made revisions to the inked version before coloring it. And yet I'm still wondering if something's off...
Again, this was a salute/homage/shout-out to the "pulp" SF of yesteryear--examples being the LENSMAN novels of E.E. "Doc" Smith or C.L. Moore's Northwest Smith stories. Or the BUCK ROGERS comics and movie serials.
Originally drawn in Blue pencil, inked in Manga Studio and colored in PhotoShop.
