Nice piece.   
Though your design isn't the first where Morgoth looks like a further-vamped-up version of Sauron's movie armoured form, I love the skull-like and gaunt appearance of the helmet - the circular eye-socket holes, and the dull-red circular eyes underneath, by their unreadability and lack of humanity, seem even more unsettling than a pair of angry eyes would; making me all the more terrified of what lurks under that helmet!    Your design of Morgoth looks very much like he's supposed to be like armoured-Sauron but something even bigger and badder, by his gigantic royal-size shoulder-pads and the railroad-spikes decorating them, and by the vertical crown of needle-like spikes (which makes me think of a pipe organ being played by the Phantom of the Opera ). Also, I love the gorgeous details and intricacy of Morgoth's armour-design with the scales and the collarbone section!
