The crew and equipment transport plane of the BLue Angels, known as "Fat Albert", takeing off with JATO (Jet Assisted Take Off) rockets attached.Those rockets allow the plane to launch from short or improvised runways at a 45 degree angle. Think of the first hill on a roller coaster that lifts you high up to begin the ride.
