I modeled this because I had a slow and somewhat boring week at work. (I work in a casino)

This is a model of an IGT Slot machine.

Note that the "Double Diamond Deluxe" Slot symbols, payout panel and bottom panel textures were (lovingly) ripped off of IGT's website. (www.igt.com) I am not affiliated in any way with IGT. (I hand drew the reel panel though)

Some interesting facts, the payout on the 2nd coin jackpot is blank because this value can be changed by the casino. It can also be removed completely if the machine is intended to be used on a progressive system.

Also, the lights on the top of the machine are not arbitrary. The white light is the service light and the bottom light flashes when the machine hits a jackpot. The color of the bottom light indicates the denomination of the machine. In this case, the blue light denotes that this is a $1.00 per credit slot machine.

Most slot machines of a particular type are all actually the same machine on the inside. This machine for example can have its pay table, bottom panel and reel graphics changed and it becomes a "different" machine. Modern computer driven machines with an LCD screen run their games on USB flash drives that can be changed as desired by the casino's slot department.
