The origins of these pics were inspired by the Church Militant Trope and the following examples:
(a) Kamen Rider Ixa

(b) The Rider Troopers concept from the Kamen Rider franchise. This includes the Riotrooper and the Kamen Rider Mach (Production Model) .

The Crusader Rider Troopers' body armours are made using a combination of science and magic. Basically, they are magitech/magitek powered armours. Besides increased protection and enhancing/amplifying the wearers' strength, the magitech/magitek powered armours are equipped with back-mounted energy wings.

The basic, standard-issue weapons each powered armour is equipped with are:
(a) a sidearm (either a large pistol or a small submachine gun) loaded with holy/silver/magical rounds;

(b) a short sword made of blessed/holy materials, with a secondary long sword mode where holy magic/energy is channeled through the short sword's blade to form a long sword energy blade;

(c) Weapons built into each armour's forearm guards. Said forearm guards can each:
(1) produce a forearm energy shield;
(2) produce a forearm energy blade;
(3) either launch the forearm energy blade at a target like a projectile or fire a more powerful magic energy blast. Imagine firing either a bullet (for precision shoots) or a grenade (for more damage potential) respectively.
