Planets and Miscellaneous of the Krypton System

Rao (Known as Eldirao, LHS-2520): A Red Dwarf Star, it is located in the Alpha Quadrant of Sector 2 (Like in Star Trek) and located 27.1 Light Years from Earth.

Boron: A Light Brown Mercury-like Planet closer to the Krypton's Star.

Phalon: A Yellow Venus-like Planet.

Thalon: A Blue Bathyos-like Planet with Oceans, Coral Reefs, and Marine animals.

-Mithen: A Titania-like Moon

Krypton (Known as Rao Prime): A Terrestrial planet which means a Kryptonian homeworld, it is before destruction of the Original Krypton. It was home to a great civilization which boasted advanced science and technology. In many versions of the story, it was either barren or icy, and often the home to huge crystals and crystalline structures. Krypton had many strange creatures (such as glass-eaters) and beautiful landscapes that simply don't exist on other worlds. The planet was destroyed late in its life due to internal pressures (In most versions). However, Krypton appears, or is at least mentioned, in almost every version of the Superman mythos. It has changed completely over the years while retaining many elements from its past. It is the homeworld of Superman, but also to Supergirl, Krypto: The Super Dog and other Kryptonians. Unfortunately, the destruction of the planet also created Kryptonite, radioactive chunks of the planet which are deadly to all Kryptonians. Jor-El told Louise McCallum, that Krypton has colors that humans couldn't even dream of. Krypton exploded as a result of highly unstable geological conditions. As originally depicted, the entire civilization and race of Krypton perished in the explosion and became a new asteroid field, except for only one survivor: the baby Kal-El who was placed in an escape rocket by his father, Jor-El, and sent to the planet Earth, where he grew up to become Superman. In some versions of the Superman mythos, additional survivors, such as Krypto, Supergirl, her parents (kept alive in the "Survival Zone", a different but similar parallel "dimension" from the Phantom Zone), the criminal inhabitants of the Phantom Zone, Dev-Em, Beppo the Super-Monkey, and the residents of the city of Kandor (presumably numbering in the many thousands, perhaps millions), reduced to microscopic size by Brainiac, were also introduced to the continuity. More recent canonical accounts have greatly reduced the number of Kryptonian survivors, many to the extent that Kal-El is indeed the "last son of Krypton" (see below). In current continuity, the insistence of Superman's status as Krypton's sole survivor appears to be softening somewhat. Throughout the varying continuities krypton has been a host to an impressive array of lifeforms, save for continuities in which the world is barren and lifeless.

-Agoron: A Luna-like Moon as seen in comic books, tv series, film and the series.

-Wegthor: A Shattered Luna-like Moon as seen in comic books, tv series, film and the series.

-Koron: A Grey Callisto-like Moon as seen in comic books, tv series, film and the series.

-Xenon: A Ariel-like Moon as seen in comic books, tv series, film and the series.

Daxam: A Red Earth-like planet with Blue Sky and Blue Seas. Populated by Humanoid residents, Daxam was victim to two major alien invasions in the 20th century. During the Imperiex War, Daxam was besieged by dozens of Imperiex Probes, which were responsible for killing hundreds of Daxamites. The Earth heroes known as the JSA, as well as a full complement of reserves, traveled to Daxam and liberated the planet without suffering a single casualty. [1]

Many years later, Daxam was taken over by the galactic despot known as Mongul. Armed with six Qwardian Power Rings, Mongul made Daxam the new base of operations for the Sinestro Corps. Green Lanterns Arisia and Sodam Yat (himself a Daxamite) flew to Daxam to try and save the people from Mongul's brutality. After a hardfought battle, Sodam realized that the only way to save Daxam was to empower the people to fight for themselves. Sodam flew to Daxam's red sun and infused it with the power of Ion, transforming it from a red star into a yellow star. The yellow wavelength radiation gave the Daxamites superior physical capabilities, as well as the ability to fly and project thermal radiation from their eyes (similar to a Kryptonian). This heroic act temporarily trapped Yat inside the star, but the people of Daxam now had the power to defend themselves. Arisia volunteered to train the Daxamites and forge an underground rebellion to oust Mongul. [2] Eventually, though, Sodam left the star, restoring it to its original red color, and returned the Daxamites to normality.

Argo (Known as Rao Minor, Krypton's Sister Planet): A Frozen rocky planet with Bases, Colonies, Cities, Research Bases, and so on. Which means a When Krypton exploded, its smaller neighbor planet, Argo, was torn from its orbit, and its landscape was devastated by shock waves, earthquakes, and super tidal waves. After these cataclysmic events, the world began to slowly freeze from being too far from its sun, causing the deaths of the remaining inhabitants. The Argoans sent distress calls into space, but they were never answered. Kala In-Ze, Argo's chief physician, placed herself and her family in cryonic stasis, in the hopes that they would survive until help came. Over time, ice gradually encroached on the cryonic cells, destroying all except the one holding Kala's teenaged daughter, Kara In-Ze. Many Years later, Superman arrived in the star system in hopes of finding any survivors. He intercepted a distress signal and traced it to the now frozen planet. It was a holographic message left behind by Kala In-Ze, as well as the cryonic tubes. All except one were destroyed; he took the sole survivor, Kara In-Ze, home with him.

Haron: A Light Blue Saturn-like Gas Giant with planetary ringed system, and 80 Moons

-Dheron: An Orange Geonosis-like Moon. It is a planet found within "Earth-1" universe (post-Infinite Crisis), is the fifth planet from Rao and is a habitable world with similar aspects to Krypton, as well it has its own humanoid race: the Dheronians. Dheron is originally the fifth planet of the Rao star system orbiting the same sun as the planet Krypton, which is the fourth. Its natives evolved at the same rate as the Kryptonians, but their path was harder. Dheron's climate was more difficult and their resources fewer. Dheronians developed limited-range space flight at roughly the same time as their neighbors, but their distance was too great to allow travel between the two worlds. However, once every twenty years their orbits were close enough for contact, igniting a war between the two worlds. Both worlds were sabotaging each other's advancements in space travel to make sure none had the advantage, until one day Dheron was visited by the rogue Kryptonian Zod-El. Zod gave them the means of finally destroying Krypton and the technology of interstellar travel, and in return they will seek and destroy any surviving Kryptonian that manages to escape. Tyrell was among the soldiers sent to follow the last Kryptonian among the stars to finally end the long war, and should he fail, he will send a distress signal to lead Zod-El to the last Kryptonian in order to eliminate him himself.

-Thoron: An Earth-like Moon inhabited by a race of humanoid peoples resembling humans and Kryptonians in many ways having much of the same abilities as Kryptonians. Similar to Daxamites, they are vulnerable to lead. The planet was introduced in Superman #80 (v1) and has unknown other appearances. However, Thoron was originally a planet in the same solar system as Krypton, but it became a moon orbiting the gas giant Haron. Shortly before the destruction of Krypton, one Thoronian traveled to Krypton, but was told to leave by Jor-L. However, the destruction of Krypton prevented his return to Thoron, and he emerged on Earth over 20 years later, suffering from amnesia. Once his memory returned, he set out to return to Thoron. It's unknown if he made it and what state Thoron was left in, after Krypton exploded.

Stormarrim: A Light Red Neptune-like Ice Giant with 16 Moons.

-Stormarrim Minor: A Yellow Triton-like Moon

O'Rrccumpi: A Improcco-like Planet which means an icy planet, and cold extreme death.

-The Frozen Moon of O'Rrccumpi: A Hoth-like Moon with Snowy, Mountains, Forests, and Small Seas.

Nou'vi: A Nabatu-like Dwarf Planet.

Ubarthyos: A Ulabos-like Dwarf Planet with Planetary Rings and 1 moon.
