Sometimes I just have to play with the mandelbrotformula in UF. Manipulating the formula, altering etc etc.
The mandelbrotfractal is by far the most addictive fractal for me, because of its about endless possibilities. That counts for the original, and thus even more for altered mandelbrotformula's.

I love to play around with excisting formulas in UF. Especially to manipulate them in a way there have to be places to find mandelbrot-like shapes in the fractals. Doing that, sometimes interresting patterns appear around the mandelbrots or deeper hidden minibrots.

I made myself the challenge that I may only use ONE layer for fractalimage I make and besides that, I may only use the basic outside coloring formula in UF, named 'Smooth(Mandelbrot)'
At one side this will put a limit on my possibilities, at the other side it will make the challenge to find interresting mandel/minibrots a lot more fun.

There is only one real limit for me. And thats the point where the deepzoom in UF starts to calculate very slow. That's from around E15/E16. If only that could be a lot faster.... then I will never sleep again I think
