When the sound steadiesAnd all that is chaotic is put to rest
Does paranoia seek
To find a fear that is the best
All that shifts is not always bad
“Live and let live” is what they say
And yet they continue to march along
Disbelieving that tomorrow is just another day
Reaching for all the power and perfection
That the world has to offer under its cloudy peel
Even with these problems on our backs
We, the people, are the ones who choose to kneel
No longer does the grace of peace
Elegantly walk along the wondrous skies
They cover it with their hate and pain
Knowing anger never dies
As they hold up all they possess
Above those who may be poor
Do they insist that they wish to help
Then turn around and say they want more
Within the circle of taunting beliefs
They hold on tight to their logic and faithful pray
They still are standing there willing to
Disbelieve that tomorrow is just another day
