In her place of never ending joy
Lies a tale of darkening sorrow
Not even the purest of light
Can stop the nightly invading of the skies
Before the sun rises tomorrow

In her dreams, she did escape
Whenever she could she would enter
When there she felt right
From all the wrongs and worldly cries
Here she is. A place where reality has no center

One day she planned to destroy
The life she once had
Of everything she lived, every day and night
She was willing to give up for her mind’s prize
Anything else would just make her sad

The people began to notice
The way she was acting changed
At the real world, she stared in spite
And just covered it up with her imaginary disguise
They all knew she had become deranged

They then found a ploy
To save her from her life feign
They tricked her and binded her tight
When she awoke she was detached from all her lies
And the white room’s wife lay her head in vain
