This is my entry for prompt #3 for the Puissant Warmblood Wild Transformation Event .

Prompt Chosen: Free Lunging

Story:

It was rainy, the soft pitter patter hitting the roof of the barn as Hanika led 101 to the indoor arena, her spirits of another good day of training undettered from the rain. Today's session held a touch of excitement as Hanika laid out trot poles on one side of the arena. It was an opportunity to observe 101's natural instincts and see how he would use his brain to navigate the new challenge. Curiosity danced in 101's eyes as he cautiously approached the trot poles, snorting and blowing with uncertainty. Hanika observed from the center of the arena, watching with patience, allowing 101 to explore and make sense of the unfamiliar objects in his own time.

After a few minutes of circling around the trot poles, 101's curiosity got the better of him. He lowered his head, snorting loudly, and pawed at the poles as if challenging them. Hanika laughed at the action but recognized the brave spirit. With each interaction, 101's confidence grew. He cautiously approached the trot poles again, carefully lifting his legs and gingerly stepping over them. It was a sight that evoked a sense of awe in Hanika, witnessing 101's transformation from fear to bold exploration.

Ast their session progressed, 101's movements became more fluid and confident. He awkwardly jumped over the trot poles, his body responding to the rhythm and challenge presented before him. A sense of accomplishment radiated from 101 as he settled into a lazy, yet exaggerated trot as he crossed the poles. His newfound confidence was shining through each stride. Hanika watched on, hardly prompting anything more from 101, happy with the outcome of today's training session.
