Heh, yep. The character is immensly strong, the downside is his body is always overtaxed because of it's size so the immune system and temperature control systems are shot all to hell. If the wheather gets too cold or to hot or wet or any other number of things and it just shuts down so he can barely move. But yes, in good wheather he launched people like the apollo 13. ^_^
