The pose is very good, strong and with sense of captured moment, that it's been moving and will soon move again. Since you've asked for critique, there are two things I would like to mention that is holding your piece back. The main one would be the choice of colouring and background. You've used a fiery blaze as a backdrop, but the lighting on the character is that of a sunny day before noon. Otherwise known as probably one of dullest times of day when it comes to light effects. It also strikes us as wrong because when we see the fire we expect a certain pallet to accompany it. As a bonus it would also be complementary to the pose, as it would enhance the sense of drama. I found some examples of what others have done with fire in their images [link] [link] [link] lots of good stuff there, orange yellow for highlights and a tint of blue in the shadows will take you a long way. And have the light come from where you have your fire
The second thing is the fiery backdrop itself. It seems oversized for its quality for one thing, and the wide gap between it's realism and your style keep the image from registering as complete, like it was parachuted in to fill in some space. If you changed the colouring and went for a very realistic shading, and possibly found a higher quality fire image, maybe you could get away with it. But as an alternative, you could make your own fire and maybe stylize it a bit. I think in this image the artist did a pretty good job of that [link]
