Description
Some viewers may find this disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.Show: Toddler Titans Goo Goo Ga Ga
Episode: 88
Year: 2015
Writer(s): Michael Jelenic, Aaron Horvath
Director(s): Peter Rita Michail
HOLY DAMMIT CHRISTMAS! What the fuck ARE THOSE THINGS!? And I thought the Zombie Titans looked awful. This, this is Sanjay and Craig levels of gross right here. This, much like "Let's Get Serious", tries to excuse the Titans bastardized behavior in an insulting way; less insulting than the episode mentioned, but a lot more stupid, they have the nerve to claim PIZZA is the source of why the Titans are so horribly stupid! As a pizza lover, I am deeply offended; it's the lasagna to my Garfield, if you will. They also don't have the basic cursory understanding of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or how mutagen is supposed to work. The guys who work on this show worked on MAD, which parodied the Ninja Turtles very well several times, so they KNOW how to do it better than this. This episode also makes all the Titans even worse bastards by claiming they only joined Robin for PIZZA and that they never gave a shit about truth and justice!
You're probably wondering why I haven't deducted points in character derailment in my other Toddler Titans Animated Atrocity reviews. That's because I, like MrEnter, believe these Titans don't HAVE any character. And as such, they can do whatever the fuck they want and nothing's out of character for them, but it's impossible to give a shit about them.

They gave them a lobotomy and made them stupider than their '87 counterparts, at least those turtles had some dignity.

In other words, turned them into their 2012 incarnations.

But even their 2012 incarnations are enjoyable. TTG takes good shows that entertain better than them & take the piss out of them for cheap "comedy".

Whiel i can kind of understand why people flipped their shit over "Let's Get serious", there really was no reason for people to hate on this one. Like that way, people take it way too seriously. This one isn't even insulting that one can be. It doesn't have a "point" it just...dumb.

The reasons for people to hate "Truth, Justice, and What?":
-The writers using pizza as an excuse/red herring for bad/lazy/mindless writing, plot, and character degeneration (like ANYONE is dumb enough to believe that "pizza" is the reason they're goofy and random... uh-huh... riiiiight.).
-Pointless "crossover" with generic, copyright-free kung fu turtles who intentionally don't use the licensed name... all because BB'S VA also voices Mikey on Nick's TMNT.
-Cringe humor that doesn't work because it's cringe-worthy TO THE AUDIENCE!
-Cyborg's one line that ruined an otherwise mediocre/tolerable episode ("Who cares about 'truth and justice'?").
It's not about "taking it way too seriously". It's more about something we once loved has been... bastardized beyond repair... intentionally.

Not every young children's show needs to have deeper meanings, morals or messages. The point is that little kids like Teen Titans Go, and people should let them like it. If you don't want kids to be treated like idiots, you should let them choose which shows they'd like to watch. Really, if your target audience is entertained, you're doing something right. Much like you can't expect a little kid to find much value in a drama targeted at adults, you can't expect adults to laugh at jokes meant for pre-school aged children.
I've seen Enter's reviews, he has a tendency to take children's shows too seriously.

To begin with, I only watch this show when my brother and his friends are. They're five, they love it. It's one of their favorite shows. It's not the best, but it's harmless. I just think it's a little... odd that grown adults are getting so angry over a show that's meant to keep little kids entertained. Why does it matter so much what they watch? Can't they just be happy? I do care what kids are exposed to, but Teen Titans Go is a harmless show. My brother and his friends watch it because they WANT to, not because there isn't anything better to do. It's one of the most popular topics of discussion at his kindergarten.
It doesn't matter if you don't like soaps, I was just saying that IN GENERAL, a kid isn't going to give a darn about adult-targeted shows, that doesn't mean that there aren't those that do, but in my experience, they're more likely to go for TTG than Star Trek. And IN GENERAL, an adult is going to choose something like Breaking Bad over SpongeBob. Again, that doesn't mean that everyone will, it's just the majority.
As for why I'm defending it, I'm a little tired of my brother looking for fanart of one of his favorite shows, only to find hate-filled rants from 20-something year old adults. Why does it matter to you so much what kids are entertained by? I loved Jay Jay the Jetplane when I was little, but it's had no baring on anything I watch now.

To be fair, lot of Disney and Pixar movies are PG, and I don't know many parents that won't let a kid watch The Incredibles. As for if he will imitate, he never has. He understands the difference between fantasy and reality. It's up to parents to teach that to their kids. If you had a kid that was more inclined to mimic things on TV, I wouldn't recommend TTG to you, or most cartoons for that matter. But if your kid's mature enough to see the difference between 'real world' and 'cartoon world', then I don't see the harm.

Also, they may not have become cannibals, but they did mock someone on their death bed. really.
