Description
A picture I drew in honour of Father's Day! Dimitri, Anya, and baby daughter Katya on their first Father's Day. (And Pooka! He's kinda like the "older brother" to the baby.)I did the background in pastels; I wanted it to have a sort of fuzzy, warm feeling to it, to reflet the warmth, happiness, and love they're feeling. I did the characters in marker and pencil crayon (simply because I wanted it to stand out more against the background).
The pictures on the table and the wall are movie artwork, with one exception. Wall: the picture I drew of the Romanov sisters and posted a while ago (see "Forever Sisters"); Marie, from her final appearance in the movie, stating, "It's a perfect beginning!"; and the Royal Family portrait used in the film (drawn by Suzanne Lemieux Wilson- thank you to "The Art of Anastasia" for that info).
Table: Part of the picture on the wall that Anya looks at after talking to Dimitri and Vlad following Once Upon a December, of young Anastasia and her mother Alexandra (I'm pretty sure it's another Wilson portrait); and Anya and Dimitri that I found with other movie pictures. Though this scene didn't happen in the movie, it's still adorable and perfect for a snapshot.
Why the pics are in colour: I know they probably didn't have colour photos back then, but I couldn't get my printer to print in black and white! So, I will just say, they're paintings! That, and the real Anastasia liked to colour in her photos, so... it could be a combo of both.
Uh, I don't know what's up with the line through it. It didn't scan like that, nor is it on the paper itself...?
Thank you for reading, I know it was long!
