Description

A relatively rare type of Kitsirin subtype, Goliaths are most commonly found in cold environments but may be encountered anywhere. While their personalities can vary, they are stereotyped as being stolid, sensible, and dignified--and so are often respected for their considerable presence, backed up as it is by their immense size. While standard Kitsirin can range in size from a goat to a very lightly-boned horse, Goliath Kitlings are heavily-built and can be as tall as a moose.
In addition to their size and their distinctive Roman noses, Goliaths can be identified by a few other distinguishing features: namely, their smoke, fur, tendrils, and scales. Goliath smoke does not usually manifest around the feet and shoulders, instead emerging from their nose and mouth like steam on a cold morning. Their necks are heavily-furred and generally sport a beard (this does not count as a star trait on a Goliath), and they generally have some amount of fluff on their hooves as well (although full fetlocks would still count as a star trait). Their tendrils are heavy and tend to flow downwards and back rather than being carried aloft as a standard Kitsirin’s are, and although they are moveable and prehensile they tend to move more sluggishly. Finally, Goliaths with back scales tend to generally have more pointed scales with a ridged shape similar to a pinecone.
Standard Kitlings can grow into Goliath Kitsirin, especially if nurtured in a cold environment, created by a matched pair of Goliaths, or performing guide duties where being of an enormous size would be beneficial, but some Kitlings are born in a Goliath form from the get-go. Goliath Kitlings are considerably larger than standard Kitlings and some may even stand as tall as a standard Kitsirin!

Goliath Kitsirin are available with any edits available to normal Kitsirin, aside from other subtypes (hybrid subtypes being currently unavailable). Goliath Kitlings follow the rules and types that apply to normal Kitlings.

It is also entirely possible to have Elder Goliath Kitsirin!

Goliath Kitsirin can produce Kitlings with any other subtype of Kitsirin. The resulting offspring type will be determined randomly.
