did this today since i got SO MUCH work and backlog done today

some things:

in some ways the old one is better. more motion etc; i like the foreshorting on the arm more, etc.

mostly the new one is. it also actually looks like the character it’s supposed to (gasps) and only took about 1/4 of the time the old one did.

i have also fully leaned in to drawing heads too big cos i think it’s cute, fight me about it. Did a branched-off-canon version of the same universe for it--he gained some scars and tattoos and lost the coat for a better, cooler, less swooshy one that isn’t the symbol of an organization he hates.
