Portraits and landscapes give way to scratchily-rendered fur and falling flakes of snow, and by the time he reaches the middle of the hallway he is shivering. It is not until he spots the cloud of steam up ahead, wisping as if to the rhythm of enormous lungs, that he turns his attention back to the art, and he sees, for the first time, that he is followed...

So I'm like 90% sure I stole this idea by accident because the more I worked on it the more I felt I'd seen something like it before. So uh... if anyone knows where I stole this from please let me know. LOL

[ M - 003] Scenery Challenge - Mystery House

Draw or write about your Stygian exploring in and around a mysterious mansion. Around it is mostly a strange, dark forest full of strange shadows and bioluminscent plants. Upon entering it, they realize they are trapped in a house full of endless corridors and doors. Each room is different: some look like caves, others look like forests, and even more yet look strange and alien. Minimum 300 words.
