Dimly lit landscapes glow in the distanceIn this early morning moment we forget about our past, our future
We’ve disowned the actions of our fathers and mothers
Declared rejection of our ghosts that haunt us
In this moment, we can only appreciate the beauty of our world
The subliminal eclipse of mind and body as the sun rises from the dead
And lights up our late night blueprints
Where we fought to stay awake for what seemed like days
Transparent are our dreams and desires
Elusive in their hunt for madness
But in this early morning moment we finally realize
That our time in this landscape is temporary
