Description
So here is the height comparison for neogi and my custom race, the aranenti. Right to left: Human, female aranenti, male aranenti, neogi. Here is their info for play in Pathfinder:Aranenti are a spider-like race, with six legs, two arms, and long, elegant, snake-like necks. Their backs and abdomens are covered in fur, and some aranenti have fur on their arms or legs. Male aranenti are smaller than their female counterparts, and in general have much brighter fur, although females will sometimes dye their fur. Aranenti live in nomadic clans, usually running caravans and trading with other friendly merchants and customers. They have a reputation for being extremely persuasive and it is said that an aranenti could sell plate mail to a druid. They are agile and have a variety of dances that baffle most bipeds, involving complicated six-legged steps that often spill over onto walls and ceilings.
There are rumors that aranenti are related to neogi, due to their similar body shape and mercantile interests. It is possible that they share a similar origin. Aranenti view neogi in much the same way elves view drow: with fear, disgust, and hatred. Aranenti are not an entirely uncommon race, and in the areas where their caravans visit, other races are aware of their distinction from neogi.
