Fain Flinn was called many things throughout his life, Flinn the Mighty, Flin the Fallen, Flinn the Fool, and all because of the green dragon Verdilith. He was sent out to hunt down the great green, not too deep into his knighthood, and though only wounding the dragon, he was the most successful of any who had tried to hunt the beast. Vengeful, the dragon used his shapeshifting abilities to infiltrate the knight's order and destroy Flinn's reputation so Flinn once again took off to the woods, and only one of them would leave the forest alive.
