Another test image, and Mi Sun is doing the honors today. What is different is that I upgraded Vue 2014.5 to the subscription Vue Creator version for US 20/month. Yes, I know subscription software, hiss, vampire to the sun reaction.

Well, if I can make the program pay for itself, that is a motivation. Also, this version is supported, and I was never able to get skin and surfaces looking this good back in the old Vue 2014.5 to Poser 2014 pipeline. Everything is coming in perfectly and it all looks great.

I know in the long run this will cost me more, maybe, but considering last fall I was talking about spending US 600 for a new-er version that would eventually fall out of support I chose the right thing and elected to support and always have the latest version on hand. The headaches of watching a version of something in your pipeline fall out of support and lose functionality make the monthly cost worth it - never skimp on your tools or neglect them.

Also, I am doing a lot of cool over-painting effects I never used to do. I picked this up over the holidays when I did a series where the hair looked horrid and I knew I could improve it with just a few strokes here and there. Now I am adding effects and doing more over-painting to touch things up, and it looks good. As long as it doesn't stand out and looks natural is my rule.

They say there is a DAZ import pipeline in here. I am going to try that next.
