Well, I've noticed the trend too.Β Everything is sterile and bland, because heaven forbid women wear sexy clothing.
The weird thing about it is that liberals are the new religious right, I'm terms of modesty and censorship.

Its also sterile and bland in color.Β The least eye-catching blue and red possible, so that no one will notice the horrible color balance.Β (Which is an improvement over last years Flash costume, where being BRIGHT red was one of the major problems).

I never watched an episode because I could tell where it was going (nowhere) just by the casting.Β Supergirl of yester-year was a smoking hot example of alien perfection.Β A perfect 10 (despite me not being into blondes) and they gave us the girl next door, someone the average Joe could easily go out on a date with and bang.
The CW got it right with the first few seasons of Arrow, but their PC people have really screwed things up.Β I mean, an African American playing Starfire?Β LOL.Β Jesus.Β President Trump is more orange than she is. Β

Also random thought, but this is exactly why Spider-man probably has the best power set. Even if Kryptonians, in the most basic sense, out power him, a Spider sense would have came in really handy for Kara here.
