Amery is borrowing the gorgeous Never say Never for the first stage of TWD. She has participated in it before so was an easy choice. Also those spoots.

Amery has only ridden Endgame the whole of his competitive riding life. He has never even given another horse a chance, not even when Endgame was at OAG and he had been given a school horse to ride . Poor truffle, he ended up not riding her until he was reunited with Endgame.

However there are some things you cant do with only one horse, like a long endurance trek for example. As badass as Endgame was, pretty sure she wouldnt enjoy a whole month of lugging her man colt around in the snow.

Another horse could never measure up to Endgame, but he could compromise with a horse that's cool enough. None of the horses at his home stable fit that criteria, especially because they were all used to the Mediterranean life.

But a cool spotty horse that had done TWD before? Hell yes. Of course he still had to go on a test ride, which was a great experience. He was a little unsteady and lacked confidence on a different horse but thankfully Andrew, Never's owner, was patient and let him warm up to her in an arena. After that they went on a little trial ride through the gorgeous Autumn countryside.

THe idea of relying on a horse that wasnt Endgame still made him nervous, but Never was a clear choice for taking that step.
