I'm on a roll today regarding the Conservatory Event! Totally stuck with what to do for Temple of Sound, but I have a lot of ideas for Calphe and the Temple of Silence, so here we go. This prompt is A Held Memory, where Cal walked into a chamber of the temple and then plunged into the water quite comfortably - she is an ocean esk, after all, she wasn't expecting any problems. This wasn't a normal pond, though, and Cal was plunged into memories upon memories about her turtle life, the thing that she most cherished, the life that she wanted to return to even if it was impossible.

This is what I wanted to portray, a memory of her swimming with one of her children showing up (with a kind of purplish light as per the original prompt) in the water. I wanted to make the underwater scene "weird" with showing grass and trees and even a shrub. It's a Forest biome but like, underwater? Then I also thought why not add the dome of the Conservatory to the background, but put together I can only hope that this would pop the way I wanted it to.

I left the turtles in their original hues to show they were not part of the scene, not really there, while everything else has the dark blue underwater hue. I love playing with putting colored layers on top of things c:

Poor Calphe, her journey is already quite the challenge - letting go of her memories, of her whole fixation with her turtle self? Let's hope she manages to let go of something, enough for the pond to release her and let her continue her journey through the temple. It sure won't be easy, but the Temple of Silence called to her for a reason.
