It's not even about that though. I'm not so easily offended that I should feel insulted by something so small. He wasn't trying to degrade or insult with the term, and while I agree that perhaps it's not the nicest slang term to use, one shouldn't get so worked up over it. No harm was meant, so just ignore it if you don't like it. And come on, think of all the nicknames we use to talk about penises, plus lots of girls use slang words to talk about breasts as well. It's really not a big deal.

Gotta draw the line somewhere. I call a penis a penis or genitalia. I just use the terms that grown ups should use. I guess my medical training comes in there. I don't go to the pussy doctor to get a tit exam or have a hootergram. Call me uptight if you want. Your perogative. If we don't teach children the correct terms for things, who will we have to blame when the wrong things come out at embarrassing times, like at your cousin Ellie's wedding? Certainly not the child.
