Whoa! Guys, this is the last drawing I submitted to the italian official Wolvie fanart contest on Facebook. I know lots of you already helped me a lot by liking my other three drawings, but if you could take a little time to put another like to this one I would be forever grateful, really!! As some of you might know, in fact, in that contest likes are important to be considered by the judges. The contest closed today though, so no worries, this will be the last one...haha! thank you SO much in advance if you'll do this!

HOWEVER!! This drawing started out as more of an inking practice, wanting to try out new things and stuff, I was about to give up on it so many times because I have difficulties in drawing animals, and since the wolves kind of play a main characters part in this one I was afraid of fucking up badly... but eventually I just told myself "Screw those doubts" and just finished it. So here you have Logan adopted by a family of wolves lol I don't even know, and I'm sorry (no, not really) if I exaggerated with cuteness overload. I like that... bond that Logan has with animals.
I hope you enjoy it anyway. Not my usual style but I had fun doing this!
AND ON A SIDE NOTE.
I saw The Wolverine tonight. And it was freakin' awesome. Epic. So in character. So great. So many awesome scenes, whoa. I waited 5 months but it was freakin' worth it. And the perfect ending... No spoilers, don't worry. But listen up here for you own good: don't you DARE to leave your seat when credits start to roll. Don't. You. Dare.
I need to see that thing again, anyway, and drown again in feels because it felt awesome.

Anyways, yeah... Logan's history is very dark and depressing... I'm glad you feel the need to express some of the little gems that were found in that pile of dirt that is his life

Yeah, yeah, exactly. I mean, I love the dark and depressing things about him because his character is so full of depth I can't even, but still, it's nice to remember that he absolutely has this softer side within him and I absolutely love bringing it out!! ;D

Oh, me too... as you said, it makes him more identifiable because he's more realistic...
But since it is such a dark, depressing history he has, that makes his sweet moments all the more cavity-inducing
And by the way, you bring out his character PERFECTLY

Yeah, that's probably what blocks me the most. I'm always thinking instead of doing :/ sigh. So at least when I do drawings for myself such as this I also try to use them as incentive to try and go past doubts and stuff Dx

I love how you made the wolves look! Instead of downright ferocious, like most are represented, you made them seem like loving parents (after all, they DID adopt Logan, and have a pup of their own, no?). And Logan has a fantastic expression, almost like a big brother, or maybe an uncle, haha C:
I also find the sketchy feel of the background really fits this scene!

Ashfkghl thanks!! Your interpretation is so correct I can't even haha! I think I wanted to focus on Logan being comfortable even when he lives among animals and that's why all the nice and happy looks and stuff.
I also think he totally looks like a big brother, even though I have to say it came out kind of unexpected! Originally, such interactions weren't meant to be, but I'm really happy they came out!
