I don't think there is any fanart of either of Mai's parents. She actually resembles her mother a good bit. I would imagine that Mai's momma was quite a knock-out in her day.So yeah.
The title refers to her dedication to her family as well as her likely views on the Fire Nation. A dedicated patriot she would be, I think.
Now if only we knew her name...
