Description The color version of [link]

Stock pose from *fetishfaerie-stock

Trying some new stuff. I think I like where it's heading, for the most part. The promised b/w version from yesterdays piece didn't turn out as initiated as this second try, so here's the improved version.

I absolutely love pin-up girls so I was delighted when I came across this piece. The curves and anatomy of the female is really superb. I think that your drawing skills are excellent. They are to be envied by many of us!

I particularly like the comic book look to it, as seen in the hair. I love the black in the hair. It's an up to date version of Pop Art. I love how full the lips are. Your line weight is perfect. The closer the thing is, the thicker the line. It's a good rule to stand by.

What bothers me is the blue lighting on the girl is blue, but the background is green. She should be in a blue environment to have blue shadows on her. This lighting is what comes from electronics, not green stripes. I think that you could have drawn a room and it would have been a lot better than the floating couch scene. This confuses the viewer.

While I love your smooth colouring on her thigh, other areas come out blotchy and don't make sense. The shading on the cushion implies that she's putting pressure on where she's sitting and the couch is crumpled. However, the lines on the couch is flat, showing that it is hardly affected by her weight. Also, where her shoe (her darling shoes!) is digging into the couch it should show her sticking it into the couch. The lines on her shoe suggests that it isn't touching anything. There should be some overlap with the couch and the shoe. They don't look like they're making contact.

A very daring picture. I love how you've done it. I hope my critique was useful. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

You did a really beautiful job! I love the color you used because it makes it so visually appealing. I think you did a nice job on the shading as well, especially the couch.

My favorite part of the whole image is her face and hair. She makes me think of those 40's glamor girls. Excellent job on her eyes and lips and her nose is just adorable. Great job on the hands/fingers as well. Those see to be hard things to do for a number of people.

The background, while I like, still bothers me a bit. I think it's just because it's making the couch look like it's floating in mid air. Maybe if you tried to skew the bottom a bit or just make it a different color altogether it would solve that small issue.

But I think you did a wonderful job and I do hope you do some others along this line. I think they'd be a real visual treat.

A literal femme fatale. I honestly can't decide which I adore more: the long red hair, or the purple couch.

I love your coloring style! It really made this work so much more. I think the best thing is that you pay attention to so many details in the shading. I admire your patience Great job

Awesome! I absolutely love it. The hair looks fabulous. ^-^ Nice detail everywhere, really.
I'd kind of like to see an actual background, though.. a floor/wall line somewhere, maybe skew the lines in the background? It looks fabulous as-is, but it would look less surreal/floating in space.. y'know?
Anyway - love it! This will so get featured in a future journal entry of mine.

good detail with the indentation of the couch from her foot! I was leaning toward the lineart version of this, but after some back and forthing, i've decided i enjoy this version better.
