Still working on the mermaid series, but had to take a break and draw my favorite... another horse.I love 's beautiful pic and capture of such a unique pose (original photo reference [link] ) and wanted to try to challenge myself. I love all her stock... will definitely be trying to capture more of her poses in the future!
Done w/Micron pen on sketch paper.

i think someone is art- stealing. look at rearing lineart by ~greenleaf-imagery.

thank you for letting me know. their image is almost identical to mine, but i see that they did use the same stock reference image. my friend compared the two images (overlapped in photoshop) but said the lines don't match up directly. i can't tell if the artist just tweaked my lines or if we both have very similar interpretations of the reference image. i don't want to accuse someone of art theft if they didn't do anything wrong... but i also don't condone thievery. guess i'll just keep an eye on their gallery for now.

Hi, I just wondeed if I may use your lineart as a reference for one of my artworks...I've got some friends in Switzerland, and ther favourite rockstar, which they knew personally, just passed away...I wanted to make a tribute picture which shows him as a horse and give it to them as a gift. Your lineart would be just perfect. Of course you would be credited and linked back to.

I would like to suggest you add a watermark to this image, it seems that several people on the website Howrse.com have taken a liking to this image and have claimed it as their own!

Secondly, thank you so much for letting me know this. I am so torn as what to do about the watermark. I want all of my lines to be freely accessible to the dA community. But I also don't want others to be stealing my lines and using as their own else where. I'm not sure how to make both ways work out. It just makes me sad that people are dishonest and feel its fair to claim someone's work/effort as their own.
