basically they're djinn (genies lol) but my own version of them because fuck adds animal ears to everything someone call the police i add animal ears onto my salads man but yeah closed species i guess

- They're actually made up entirely of scorching fire. It's supposed to be smokeless for real djinn but fuck that. So Djinnka can maintain a normal form and, since they're magical and shit they can manage to not burn the fuck out of everything they touch. However, the fire is noticeable in their ears, and floating over the tip of their tails. When they get pissed/lose control/etc, their form becomes less solid and can even look like just one giant humanoid shaped mass of fire.
- Due to the fact they're oh my god great balls of fire, many Djinnka have "spouts" on them that expel smoke (this one has it at the hips of their pants). Not all keep it constant, some just spraying it out like dolphins and all that shit with their blowholes etc lol (plz no fart jokes)
- Slang term for them are "Lamps" because 1) genies lol and 2) some people remark how their tails look like them with the fire coming out of the spout (those people clearly are grasping for straws, because come on that's a stretch).
- They must grant wishes to stay alive. However, most don't have boom poof there's a castle damn there's a million dollars kind of magic; their magic is far more subtle (which sucks because come on now it's like i replaced power for animal ears). So, if someone wishes for something, they often have to go out of their way to make it so (you want a friend? okay let me go out and find you one lol be back in a week don't move).
- MORE WISHES GRANTED = MORE POWER. A Djinnka that has granted 1000 wishes would be far more powerful than one that granted 7. Some don't give a shit about power though so they grant enough wishes to keep them alive (at least 1 a year should do).
- ONCE THEY COMMIT TO A WISH THOUGHT THEY HAVE TO GET IT DONE BEFORE THEY CAN GRANT ANOTHER WISH.
- Djinnka are not confined to one master. They can pick and choose who they wish to serve and leave them whenever they're sick of that shit. Rumor is there's a way to confine a Djinnka to one master, but no one's sure how.
