“FULL VIEW PLEASE, LOOKS BETTER THAT WAY!
Yeah, our little blue friend has changed a heck of a lot over the past years. I drew this to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the release of the very first (and one of the best) Sonic game. I wanted to show how much Sonic has evolved, so the similarity in poses here was deliberate. Retro Sonic, I've missed you buddy; it's been AGES since I drew a total retro Sonic, yet that's the best Sonic to me
Now you see why I copied the SA style in my previous picture, to go alongside a picture in the retro style. Aw, retro Sonic is SO cute! *hugs him* ^.^Anyway
I spent freaking HOURS on the retro Sonic, as well as the SA Sonic (that original picture's probably heading into the Scraps eventually, as I don't really need it in my Gallery now I have this). I'm proud, and I hope you all like this too ^__^ Happy birthday, Sonic!!”

I still prefer the classic Sonic design, to me Sonic just looks cooler back in the early 90s, whereas his Sonic adventure style makes him look a bit like a goon or a disco hippy, who moves his arms and legs in many weird ways. However, the classic Sonic did look a bit too fat in some of the old designs from what I remember.
