This is part one of two.

This takes place after "Taken " in which Michael, who has come into the forest near Storm's manor looking for his girlfriend April, is taken directly to the manor by Dawn.

Here, he's finally arrived and escapes from Dawn further into the manor. By sheer coincidence he comes across one of his friends, Jessica, roaming the halls. But, if you've been following along, you'll remember she had the misfortune to run into Brock while looking for Tsunami who promptly bit her . He was stopped from fully draining her since she was on the "no bite" list that Brock didn't get until well after he nibbled her. But the damage was done and Jessica was still affected by the vampirism, giving her some mini fangs and red eyes and putting her under Storm's control but not completely turning her though (meaning she doesn't have powers like flight or wall crawling. At most some heighten senses, unnatural hunger for raw food and slight super strength after dark). Regardless it's been hours since that incident and she's finally awaken and walking the hallways when Michael found her, who himself was in for a nasty shock at her new demeanor.
